This Octopus Candelabra is completely handmade from start to finish using stoneware clay. the entire sculpture is made free form. Each individual tentacle is hand carved with specialized tools to form the suckers. The artist has expressed the octopus is one of his favorite things to make. "I love making an octopus come to life. I find so much enjoyment and freedom making the tentacles look like they could move at any point."
