This piece is made from sculpture clay. The clam shell is fully three dimensional and the piece measures approximately 16" wide x 16" long x 8" high. The glaze used on the shell is Mediterranean White. The outside of the shell has been "stained" a process where most of the glaze is wiped off before the second kiln firing. This technique highlights the striations that pattern the outside. The octopus has a crackle glaze that give the skin texture and depth.

This piece is completely handmade and MADE TO ORDER. THIS WILL TAKE APPROXIMATELY 3-4 WEEKS!!!!
