Ceramic Seahorse Candlestick. Size measures aprx 15 in tall. This Seahorse Candlestick is handmade using a coil technique and free form hand sculpting. The Candlestick is formed from the layering of multiple "coils" or ropes of clay. The Seahorse is then added and hand carved with specialized tools.
The design of this candlestick is particularly difficult to achieve as it is very narrow and very tall.
glazes used are lead free. Artwork is completely hand built in NC.
