This beautiful Spiny Lobster Ceramic Pitcher is completely handmade. The Pitcher is created using the age old coil technique. The Lobster is made free hand with specialized tools.
I am very pleased how this design turned out. The Spiny Lobster has so many different parts. It was fun attempting to imitate all the bits and pieces that make up this amazing creature. From the many legs and feelers to the fins and spikes, I did take some artistic liberty to accentuate the aspects I found most intriguing.
The glazes used are lead free.
