This Starfish Platter is inspired by several local species of starfish. At a recent beach excursion I was pleased to discover on the ocean floor several starfish. Inspiration was immediate and the new designs came next.
The clay body is white sculpture solid ceramic stoneware. The platter is coil built and the starfish are handmade.. The platter is non toxic and can be used for food. Size measures aprx 16" Diameter x 3"H The glazes used are lead free. Artwork is completely hand built in NC.
